Blue Sail House in Los Angeles

The Blue Sail house, represented by EYRC Architects, is located on a hillside overlooking the ocean in a typical residential area of Los Angeles, USA. This project was a large-scale renovation of a rather boring layout, which did not use its obvious advantages: picturesque views.

The approach to the building is designed to create an atmosphere of privacy: behind the concrete wall, at the entrance to the courtyard grows an old olive tree, and the ocean welcomes guests and dwellers, flickering through its branchy crown.
